As head of the Model Shop, I re-designed the physical layout of the model shop for better collaborative interaction within the crew, strengthened communications to increase productive interaction with other departments, led a crew of a dozen creatives to develop look and style of the films and kept us on deadlines. To keep proprietary designs in-house with quicker turn-around and greater control, successfully installed a metal plating system.
The Boxtrolls Model Shop produced over 20,000 individual handmade props – a record for stop-motion animation projects.
